• University Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent in relevant stream

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of automated Quality Assurance processes and tools. Skills are listed here below:

• In depth understanding of software development and testing concepts
• Good understanding and experience with test management tools, test automation frameworks, performance testing and bug tracking tools
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• High level of personal and professional integrity and strong professional ethics
• Take ownership of the project from planning to the delivery of the project

Project Accountability

• Understand the project requirements clearly
• Collaborate with developers, product manager to understand requirements and define test cases
• Write and execute test cases for new and existing features
• Log, track, and verify bugs in issue tracking tools
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts
• Participate in regression testing and release verification cycles
• Maintain detailed and organized test documentation
• Learn and apply best practices in QA processes, tools, and methodologies
• Ask questions promptly in case there is any confusion in understanding the project
• Proactive and discuss any technical challenges that might come affront while working on the project
• Realize the project delivery date and understand the communication channels
