Intern Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to staff on development of application frontend and backend 
• Develop, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems in the cloud
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
• Follow established procedures and processes for software development
• Focus on the application development project assigned and contribute to writing manuscript for research articles

Requirements and Qualifications

• Preference will be given to candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Exceptional candidates in the final semester of college undergraduate degree will also be considered.
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
• Knowledge of network and system security
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to learn quickly and independently research into content on the web and in textbooks.
• Interest in publishing research articles in peer reviewed journals
